We all know you need to be clean and stay clean for as long as possible while hunting. Scent Shield® offers a wide array of options for getting clean and staying clean. Our products are high quality, concentrated, no-fragrance workhorses designed to help clean and deodorize your body. One of the key products is S3 Hair & Body Deodorant. A non-greasy, water-based lotion that is easy to apply to your skin or hair for the prevention of human odor. It creates a powerful barrier even when you seat. Remember the pizza you ate last night, or the pasta with extra garlic? Those odors are coming out of your pores the next day. A good way to combat this, as well as the bad breath that can accompany it, is by using a combination of Sportsmen's Edge products - including our Multi vitamin/Multi mineral supplement with chlorophyll, our Chlorophyll Deodorant pills, and our Breath Gum with chlorophyll and anti-microbials. Garment Care

Garment care preparation is a critical step in “The Recipe for Success” process, whether you hunt with carbon suits or non-carbon clothing. Taking proper care of reducing your scent from your garments is just as important as washing your body. Garment care is a 3 step process; beginning with washing your suit to free it from any outside odors that may have latched onto clothing during manufacturing, on the clothes rack and other people. The second phase is to air dry your garment on a clothes line or in a room with low humidity. Finally, throw the garments in a household dryer for 30-40 minutes on medium heat to regenerate the carbon. Then place it immediately into a carbon storage bag to keep the garment fresh. For continual scent adsorption and moisture protection we recommend adding an Odor Dry eliminator. Keep garments in the carbon storage bag until you get to your hunting location. Putting your clothes on at your hunting location takes out all the variables of the garment catching foreign odors.

Sprays

Simply spray Original Scent Shield® or Fall Blend® on your clothes, boots and equipment before going afield. With this type of protection, as long as you don't work up too much sweat and odor while you're hunting you will help to reduce the alarm response when a big buck encounters your scent. If you do sweat and heat up on your way to the stand apply again in the field to neutralize any human odor.
